The longtime president of Bard College in New York has announced his retirement, months after it was revealed that he had a much deeper relationship than was previously known with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Botstein, who has run the unorthodox liberal-arts school for more than a half century, is retiring after documents showed he had a closer relationship with Epstein than previously known.
