Jed Babbin proposes that we disentangle ourselves from the "anti-democratic, do-nothing plutocrats" in the United Nations ("Get the U.S. out of the useless U.N.," Web, Sept. 29).

As a former Democratic voter, I know that Democratic leaders embracing socialism are not going to relinquish those views before the midterms.
