Today’s ‘Quordle’ Answers And Clues For Thursday, June 16

It’s time to flex those lexical skills for another game of Quordle. If today’s quadrilogy of words has you scratching your chin, I’m here to help you out with some clues and the answers.

If you’re here, you likely know the drill by now. Just in case, here’s how to play Quordle: Just start typing in words. You have four five-letter words to guess and nine attempts to find them all. The catch is that you play all four words simultaneously.

If you get a letter in the right place for any of the four words, it will light up in green. If a word contains a letter from one of your guesses but it’s in the wrong place, it will appear in yellow. After you use a letter in a guess, you’ll also see on the keyboard whether it’s in any of the words.

Finding the four words ain’t always easy, though people seemed to find yesterday’s batch fairly straightforward. If today’s foursome is vexing you, though, here are some clues, followed by the answers:

  2. There is one word with repeated letters
  3. Word 1 (top left) clue — “In the time of chimpanzees, I was a monkey”
  4. Word 2 (top right) clue — apportion
  5. Word 3 (bottom left) clue — someone who can arrange things
  6. Word 4 (bottom right) clue — ignite
  7. Today’s words start with L, A, F and S

Quordle Clues For June 16

Here is a spoiler warning. Spoilers are ahead. You have been warned.

  • LOSER
  • ALLOT
  • FIXER
  • SPARK

Fairly common words there with mostly common letters. The X throws a small spanner in the works, but I imagine most veteran Quordle players should be able to get these answers.
