Miyamoto misses Nintendo financial briefing due to ‘sudden illness’ is expected to recover soon

Nintendo recently held its investors question and answer session to talk about the Kyoto-based company’s business. Surprisingly the legendary developer Shigeru Miyamoto wasn’t present at the event and a note states that Mr. Miyamoto was unwell and he’s expected to recover in a few days to a week. Hopefully nothing to worry about, but it’s unusual for Mr. Miyamoto to miss the event but these things happen from time to time.

“Representative director and fellow, Shigeru Miyamoto, was absent due to sudden illness. However, Mr. Miyamoto’s condition is currently stable, and he is expected to recover in a few days to a week.”
