Japan: Nintendo revises repair costs as part prices rise in November

· My Nintendo News

Nintendo has published a post detailing that its repair prices are set to rise in the Land of the Rising Sun. The reason for the adjusted prices for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 repairs is due to the inflated prices of repair parts, which will now be passed along to consumers from 16th November. Nintendo has not announced repair price increases in North America or Europe, but presumably they will eventually come as components increase in price worldwide.

Due to rising repair parts costs, we will be revising the repair prices for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch consoles, effective November 16, 2026 (Monday), for all items received by our company.
