by · Mail Online

Ant McPartlin has quit the hustle and bustle of London for leafy Surrey as he cashes out on a mega mansion.

The Mail on Sunday revealed the I'm A Celeb presenter has purchased a vast new-build on an exclusive street for a record price of more than £10million.

It is said his purchase is costing the star more than £1million in stamp duty alone.

While it's undisclosed which estate Ant has moved to, most of them are located in the north of the county.

This means he will be close to the motorway network, giving him easy access to both London and Gatwick and Heathrow airports - perfect for his presenting gigs.

The presenter, 50, is sure to feel at home in the celebrity enclave with stars such as Sir Cliff RichardJohn TerryStormzy and Gary Lineker residing in the borough.

Ant, who had his first child with second wife Anne-Marie Corbett, 47, just over 18 months ago, will be spoilt for choice when it comes to schools as Surrey is home to the Country's finest.

This includes the likes of the prestigious Surbiton School, Epson College and Charterhouse School.

As for food, it comes as no surprise that Surrey is bursting with the best spots from Michelin-starred restaurants to cosy country inns, riverside pubs and coffee shops.

Being a fan of golf, Ant is in luck with the borough home to elite clubs such as St George's Hill Golf Club and Wentworth Golf Club.

With so much to offer, it's no wonder that these luxury estates attract foreign royalty, billionaire entrepreneurs, CEOs, and celebrities.

Ant sold his luxury house in Wimbledon, south-west London, two months ago after a planning dispute with neighbours.

One local in the village said: ‘Apparently, it is a record sale for the area and it’s all anyone is gossiping about.

'It is one of the prime private estates in an acre of grounds so he shouldn’t have trouble with the neighbours any more.’

Surrey remains one of the most expensive areas in the UK, with prices heavily influenced by its proximity to London.

As of January 2026, the average house price in Surrey for a detached property is £963,000.

Meanwhile, the average for a place on the most expensive street in Old Avenue, Weybridge, is £2.63M.

But Ant won’t need to worry about the mortgage as he has just signed a £30million golden handcuffs ITV deal with TV partner and best friend Declan Donnelly

Locals have said Ant and his wife have been out with their son, Wilder.

One said: ‘He looks very content and is always happy to say hello to people who recognise him but I don’t think he will be bothered too much around here as we are used to all the celebrities packing out the local hostelries.’

He backed down after locals accused him of wanting to cut down six large healthy trees in his garden on nothing but ‘a personal whim’.

They complained after the local council granted him permission for his landscaping project despite a tree preservation order.

An objection letter from one neighbour read: 'No justification is given for felling these substantial trees, other than the applicant's wish to allow re-landscaping of part of their garden.

'There is no suggestion that any of the trees are dangerous or diseased.

'The personal whim of the applicant should not override the benefit to the community and the environment in retaining these trees.'

Ant bought that three-storey home for £6million in 2019, moving in with Anne-Marie after previously living next door to Donnelly in Chiswick, west London.

The couple splashed out ‘hundreds of thousands’, adding two extensions and a swimming pool with Victorian-style changing rooms.

A source said: 'They sank hundreds of thousands of pounds into their dream home but have now decided to go somewhere else.

'It's surprising after all that they spent on the place but Ant's got plenty of money to sink into their next home and make it just how they want.'
