Former Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Victor Ikpe, popularly known as Keivo, has broken his silence following his disqualification from the reality show, taking full responsibility for the physical confrontation that brought his time in the competition to an end.

Keivo made this known in a statement shared on his X page on Thursday, days after Big Brother disqualified him following an altercation with fellow housemate Tram.

Keivo said: “I’ve had some time to reflect on everything that happened and I take full responsibility for my actions.

“My emotions took the best of me. Regardless of how strongly I felt, physical confrontation is never a solution to any situation.

“And I take full responsibility for my actions.”

He was disqualified from the ‘Show Ya Sef’ season on Tuesday after a disagreement with Tram escalated into physical violence.

Big Brother identified Keivo as the perpetrator and ordered his removal from the competition.

Reflecting on his exit, Keivo said he would learn from the incident and work towards becoming a better person.

He wrote: “I will learn, become better, and do my very best to make you proud of Keivo the Challenger, the Competitor, the man of many talents, the son of Grace, the VICTOR.”

The former housemate also thanked Big Brother and MultiChoice for giving him the opportunity to participate in the reality show and share his story with viewers.

Keivo said: “Being in the house, sharing my story, connecting with amazing people and showing myself, I will never take that for granted.”

He also expressed appreciation to his family, friends and supporters who prayed, voted and stood by him, particularly those who had hoped to see him reach the final.

He wrote: “I came into Big Brother’s house hoping Nigerians would see who I am. I leave knowing that millions of people did.

“Thank you for loving me at my best, and thank you for holding me accountable for my actions.”

Keivo, who had been in contention for the Season 11 grand prize before his disqualification, said he was seeking God’s “mercy, wisdom, grace, and strength” as he begins what he described as a new chapter.

He wrote: “I trust that he has a purpose for every chapter, including this one. I will continue to trust him.”

Keivo ended his statement by appreciating members of the Big Brother community and wishing Nigerians a happy Independence Day.
