Redeemer’s University unveils increased tuition for 2026/2027

The increased tuition for the upcoming 2026/2027 session covered administrative charges across various faculties and levels.
Based on the revised schedule, new students admitted into the Faculty of Law will pay N2.93 million, while Nursing students are expected to pay N2.43 million.
Medical Laboratory Science attracts N2.03 million, Physiotherapy N2.07 million, and Mechatronics Engineering N2.22 million.

Mass Communication for 100-level students is pegged at N1.4 million, while Economics will cost N1.39 million. Computer Science students are expected to pay N1.63 million, Cyber Security N1.58 million, and Information Technology N1.56 million.
The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Shadrach Olufemi Akindele, had at a town hall with students on May 16, 2026 revealed that an estimated 40 percent increase in school fees would take effect to cushion rising operational expenses and maintain academic standards.
Akindele said its flexible installment payment structure, allowing students to pay 40 percent before first-semester resumption, 20 percent before first-semester examinations, and the remaining 40 percent balance prior to second-semester resumption is still in place.
