A closer look at the Blyth property which has been deemed a 'danger house'

Take a closer look at the property in a Northumberland town which has been branded a 'danger house'. The back of the house on Carlton Street in Blyth is piled so high with waste that it looks like it could collapse.

The other side of the building has a number of different coloured doors which are padlocked from the outside. It also has a mural containing the owner's name - Henry John Knox Cleave, who is known as John.

The address is covered in danger signs, no entry signs and CCTV signs. There are also coronavirus signs which say "Please use hand sanitiser" and "Please keep social distance stand here".

Northumberland County Council has served Mr Cleave with a legal order for the property. The Section 215 notice forces him to clean up the site / building.

Across the road is another property, also owned by Mr Cleave. It also has a padlocked front door and a pile of waste stacked up at the back of it.
