Bournemouth receive enquiry from Sevilla – Juanlu deal opens fresh avenue

Bournemouth’s deal to sign Juanlu from Sevilla may not be the last piece of business between the two clubs this summer.

With the Spanish full-back’s transfer now being finalised, newspapers in Seville report the La Liga side have stepped up enquiries for Bournemouth striker Enes Ünal. They are searching for a new centre-forward.

Marca, ABC Sevilla and Orgullo Biri all report Sevilla have asked about the conditions for a deal. Moreover, they view the Turkey international as an attractive option. He is attractive because of his extensive experience in Spanish football.

Juanlu deal could help

Enes Ünal has emerged as a realistic target at a time when Bournemouth and Sevilla are already working closely on Juanlu’s move to England.

Marca believes that relationship could prove useful if negotiations develop beyond the current exploratory stage. Both clubs are now in regular contact over transfer business.

Orgullo Biri adds that Sevilla’s preferred formula would be a loan, reflecting the club’s financial situation. Bournemouth are said to be willing to negotiate the striker’s departure. However, they have no intention of simply letting him leave on favourable terms.

ABC Sevilla says Enes Ünal has been on Sevilla’s radar for some time.
