My spring/summer running routine has not kicked into gear in the way I'd hoped, and I'm putting the blame on my shoes. I'm pounding the pavements in the same Nike running shoes I've had for the past 8-plus years, and while they've been a trusty companion for many a 10k, they're starting to look distinctly beat-up these days. There's even a hole in one of the toes.

I've been putting off buying a new pair, because good running shoes are expensive. However, Amazon might have just come to my rescue.
