In our four-out-of-five-star Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 review, we gave notable mention to the large set of useful features, secure and comfortable fit, and head-tracked spatial audio that enhances workouts. Despite not boasting five-star sound quality, these buds have an awful lot of good for us to recommend them.

One of our favorite features is the newly introduced heart rate monitor, which is accessible via the Health app or your compatible, linked fitness app. This will be particularly useful if you don't own one of the best smartwatches or best smart rings to do this for you.

We also love the long battery life, which means the Powerbeats Pro 2 can last up to 45 hours total between both the earbuds and the charging case, something our tester was able to confirm from personal testing.
