Ranked: Devon's cheapest and most expensive neighbourhoods
by Kirstie McCrum · DevonLiveNewton Abbot is the Devon area with the cheapest average house prices, according to new data. A new report ranks all neighbourhoods in Devon based on their average house prices - as well as their total house sales - year ending March 2024.
The chart shows that Newton Abbot town centre had a median house price - in the 12 months until March 2024 - of £193,000. Next is Central Exeter, where the median is £200,000.
At the other end of the scale - with a median house price for the period of £695,000 - is Salcombe, Malborough & Thurlestone.
Online Marketing Surgery and Cardinal Steels created their Property Report, which helped rank neighbourhoods in Devon based on their average house prices, year ending March 2024.
In a release, they said: "We used property data from the Office for National Statistics, which looked at the median house prices for MSOA areas in Devon, year ending March 2024."
