Vintage tractors shine at South Molton's ploughing and working day A day of vintage tractors and ploughs at South Molton’s working event 20 Sep 2024, 11:40 by Lewis Clarke · DevonLiveSouth Molton Vintage Rally Club held their ploughing and working day, this year on land at Newton Cross, near Newton Tracey.
About 12 drivers took part using a variety tractors of varying ages and ploughs. Drivers pay an entry fee to take part with proceeds going to support the clubs fund raising efforts.
The site was a large stubble field after combining corn and each driver worked within a marked area. The weather for the day was good, slightly overcast but dry. Refreshments were available at the food tent.
