Vintage tractors shine at South Molton's ploughing and working day

A day of vintage tractors and ploughs at South Molton’s working event

South Molton Vintage Rally Club held their ploughing and working day, this year on land at Newton Cross, near Newton Tracey.

About 12 drivers took part using a variety tractors of varying ages and ploughs. Drivers pay an entry fee to take part with proceeds going to support the clubs fund raising efforts.

The site was a large stubble field after combining corn and each driver worked within a marked area. The weather for the day was good, slightly overcast but dry. Refreshments were available at the food tent.
