Best Amazon Prime Day whisky deal slashes Glenlivet by 42%: 'Timeless elegance'

High-grade whisky needn’t break the bank, especially on Prime Day. You can currently pick up a 70cl bottle of the Glenlivet Founder's Reserve Single Malt Scotch Whisky with Giftbox for just £22.99 - that's a 42% discount, down from £39.50.

The deal beats out Tesco's Clubcard offer (£26, £35 without). This Speyside-distilled, sweet, fruity whisky is a very popular choice, standing as Amazon’s current bestseller, and it would make a great gift this Christmas. Alternatively, you could always throw away the gift box and enjoy a highly discounted bottle for yourself.

On its own you can enjoy notes of orange, pear, and toffee apples with a smooth, almost creamy finish, but this 40% whisky is also brilliant in cocktails. For example, if you mix 50ml of Glenlivet with 10ml lime juice, 120ml coconut water and two dashes of bitters over ice, you have a refreshing mixed drink known as 'the Carnivale'.
