Skechers trainers that are 'so comfortable, like slippers' now half price for Black Friday
by Kerri Ann Roper · DevonLiveSkechers, the brand synonymous with comfortable trainers, is offering a great deal on its Women's Flex Appeal 4.0s. Known for their solid arch support, comfortable soles, and durable materials, Skechers trainers are a favourite among many.
Currently, these trainers are available at Amazon for just £32.48, down from £64, while they retail for £65 on the Skechers website. Available in nine different colours and adult sizes up to size 10, these trainers come highly recommended by Amazon customers.
They feature memory foam in-soles that mould to your feet for comfort and support, a mesh upper and breathable memory foam for good airflow, and a shock-absorbing midsole suitable for casual running. These machine-washable trainers also offer a quarter-inch heel and a super-flexible sole that provides solid traction on slippery surfaces.

With an average rating of 4.6 out of 5 stars from 9,453 ratings at the time of writing, it's clear these trainers are a hit with customers. One satisfied customer left a glowing five-star review, saying: "They are so comfortable and light. Just like wearing your favourite pair of slippers," and shared delight in finding a fit for wider feet: "I have EE fitting for shoes, and these give me the width I need and normally struggle to find. I am exceptionally pleased with them and would highly recommend," reports Gloucestershire Live.
Another added: "My whole family love to wear this brand for both the comfort and the style," commenting on the value despite a higher price point: "They are more expensive than a lot of trainers but having said that, they last so much longer so the value for money is good in the end. I have found that it is much cheaper to buy them from Amazon than it is to buy them from a Skechers store." A third remarked: "Very comfortable and a nice trainer. Smart with whatever you want to wear. Also value for money."
On the flip side, some customers voiced concerns about the quality not meeting expectations: "I already had two pairs of Sketchers..so can compare. These definitely do not appear to be the same good quality. The laces are very poor quality indeed. The material on the uppers seems thinner and also wider although all pairs are size 5, so not such a good fit." Size discrepancies were also noted, though seemingly not a widespread problem: "These are more like size 8, definitely not 7. Bit surprised as I have owned a pair before and the size was perfect."
For those in need of a specialised wide fit, Debenhams is offering Hotter shoes for £89. Meanwhile, JD Sports currently has Adidas running trainers on special for £38.
However, Skechers continues to uphold its reputation for comfort and support, with a pair of Women's Flex Appeals available for less than £35.
