This weekend, during the rescheduled White House Correspondents' dinner, Donald Trump made a joke about Nicki Minaj that's not going over well.

If you've been paying attention, the two have gotten close ever since Minaj came out as a vocal MAGA supporter, even calling herself Trump's "number one fan."

During the evening, while discussing the White House Correspondents' Dinner shooting that took place in April, Trump said to the audience, "But after hearing the gunshots, many people yelled, 'Get down, get down,' which caused Nicki Minaj to start twerking. Do you believe it?"

"Get down. She's the only one who really understood what that meant," he continued as the crowd laughed.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth seemed to find it especially hilarious.
