People Are Literally Slack-Jawed Over This Gas Station's Ridiculously High Prices

Two things are very true right now. One: The US-Israel war with Iran is still ongoing, and two: Gas prices are skyrocketing as a result.

To make matters arguably worse, Donald Trump doesn't appear to care how much Americans are paying at the pump. During an interview with Reuters, he told a reporter, "I don’t have any concern about it. [Gas prices will] drop very rapidly when this is over, and if they rise, they rise, but this is far more important than having gasoline prices go up a little bit."

"If they rise, they rise," said our commander-in-chief.

Vice President JD Vance kept that same energy when he recently bragged to a Michigan crowd that compared to the US, our allies are "suffering from this, frankly, more than we are."

Meanwhile, Americans are sharing photos online of the ridiculous gas prices they've run into. One of the most viral instances comes from a station in California.

$7.19 for a regular gallon of gas.

Online, people are outraged.

They're posting "I did that" memes of Trump...

...and placing blame on his party, as well.

They're comparing the US experience to Europe's, writing, "In Europe you pay the same - but you get healthcare."

One person joked that the price physically could not go over $9.99 due to sign limitations (which was quickly refuted).

And people in other states compared their highest spottings to the nearly $8 figure.
