“One adult male victim was located and treated for non-life-threatening injuries,” said a statement Tuesday.
Mounties say the second assault took place shortly after in the same area.
“A youth victim was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries, where they remain in serious condition.”
Police closed Wells Road for several hours Sunday while investigators worked.
The Chilliwack RCMP has determined that while both assaults involve the same suspects, the victims are unrelated.
Now, investigators are asking residents to review their CCTV or dashcam video captured at the time of the assaults.
“Any video between midnight and 3 a.m. on May 3 that may have captured the assaults or the individuals involved could be very significant to our investigation,” said Const. Brennan Kish.
