According to his website, the fitness influencer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry and has focused on using his knowledge of science to improve his lifestyle through a combination of training and coaching. He has around 8.3 million subscribers on YouTube and aims to share his knowledge of academic science and field experience with those who also share the passion for the science behind "building muscle, losing fat and getting healthier."
According to reports, Jeff Nippard was born on October 6, 1990, in Canada. Before dating fitness guru and YouTuber, Stephanie Buttermore, Jeff was linked to YT star and bikini competitor, Robin Gallant. He dated Stephanie for around six years before getting down on one knee and proposing to her in October 2022. Jeff announced their engagement in November 2022 with a heartfelt post. A part of his post read:
"6 years ago, I slid in @stephanie_buttermore’s DMs, and we immediately formed a friendship. We started Skyping for 3-4 hours every day for about a month (no joke) until I went to visit her in Florida from Canada. Our first date was a shoulder workout, and I will never forget it. We got along like best friends right away because we established a foundation of shared interests and values from the beginning....Last month, I asked Steph to marry me, and she said yes! It’s been an amazing journey of growth and love. Can’t wait for the next chapter together."

When Jeff Nippard got down on one knee, neither Stephanie Buttermore nor he had pictured that their forever would be cut short by a tragic accident. And now, after seven weeks of silence, Jeff Nippard has finally broken his silence on the unfortunate demise of his fiancee. The fitness influencer took to his Instagram handle on April 28, 2026 (ET) and shared a series of pictures with Stephanie and his family. He revealed that he had spent time with his late fiancee's family and closest friends to "celebrate her life and share memories with each other" over the past week.

Along with a series of pictures, Jeff Nippard penned a long note, elaborating how he and Stephanie Buttermore's family and close friends have spent the past weeks cherishing the memories of the late fitness influencer. Jeff reflected on how loving and kind she was, and how she made the world a better place simply by existing. A part of his post could be read as:
"I'm not sure if many of you know this, but during her PhD, she studied a protein called RHAMM and found out that it could help detect ovarian cancer early. There's a copy of her PhD dissertation in my bio if you'd like to read it. It's one of the first things that made me fall in love with her. On her YouTube channel, she helped people feel less alone, especially when it comes to struggling with food and body image. Her journey helped so many people be more accepting of themselves, and I love her so much for doing that."
Jeff Nippard further shared how Stephanie Buttermore always kept her family first and shared an extremely close bond with her mother. As a sweet gesture in memory of his late fiancée, Jeff revealed that they had built a purple-themed garden in the backyard. He further reflected on how it has been extremely difficult for him and Stephanie's family to process the loss and was quoted as saying:
"We built this backyard garden in her honour (purple was her favourite colour), and it means so, so much to me. Over the past few weeks, I read many of your messages, and the support has helped us all. Stephanie's mom loves hearing stories about the difference her daughter made. We talk almost every day, and it's been incredibly difficult, but we're making it together. If you were a fan of Stephanie, then I'm a fan of you. I hope she made your life better in some way. She made my life amazing, and I'm so grateful for the time we had."
