How did Million Dollar Nannies' Leah Barrs land a job with the Kardashians?

According to NYP, Leah Barrs is a Connecticut native who, in her 20s, dropped out of her college and moved to LA, without a proper plan. Reportedly, she has been babysitting since her childhood, and when she moved to LA to solidify her career, her pastor at The Way LA connected her with Kourtney Kardashian, who wanted a nanny. Leah said that it was fate, and when she got the opportunity, she was just left in shock. She revealed to NYP:

"It was fate. He said, ‘I think you would be perfect for the position. Would you want to work for the Kardashians? I was like, ‘Holy s—t. This is crazy! YES!'” 

Leah Barrs got the job as a nanny of Kourtney's three kids, who she shares with Scott Disick, Mason, Penelope and Reign Disick. According to her, the job was to bring the kids from school, prepare snacks and avoid the paps' eyes and more. According to Leah, she was more than babysitting and added that she learned a lot about herself, while it was Kourtney who helped her to be a better worker. She said that networking is her forte, and she got compliments from everyone that she should start her own agency. She could be quoted as saying:

"It was beyond nannying. I learned a lot about myself — [Kourtney] really taught me to be a better worker. Networking, being the best version of myself. Representing that family. Everyone always said, ‘You should start your own agency.’” 

How much was Leah Barrs paid while working with Kardashian, and why did she quit?

While there is no official confirmation, reportedly, Leah Barrs was paid in six figures per month for babysitting the Kardashian kids. While there's no official confirmation about the salary Leah used to get, as per several buzz and information available on the public platform, she used to get paid around USD 100K to 150K per month. Now speaking of why she left her well-paid job, in an old TikTok, Leah revealed the same. She shared that she left the job because she was ready to level up and wanted to be a personal assistant, while Kourtney already had one.

This was the main reason why Leah decided to leave her job. It was in 2023, when Leah left the job, and speaking more about the same, she revealed that there was no bad blood between her and Kourteny, rather they love each other dearly and wish to have them forever in each other's lives. She could be quoted as saying:

"I no longer work for the family I used to work for, and it's simply because I was ready to move up to a personal assistant, and [Kourtney] already has a personal assistant."
