Disney’s Latest Sequel Is Another Price Hike

We know Disney loves a sequel, and that feeling clearly isn’t limited to its franchises. A number of Disney+ and Hulu subscribers should brace themselves for yet another price hike. New subscribers will see the price increase starting today, while current customers will see the change reflected in their upcoming bills. This comes a week after ESPN+ subscribers were given notice that the price of their subscriptions would increase. Here are the bundles and stand-alone subscriptions affected by today’s price hike:

➽ Disney+ Premium (without ads) is going up by $2, landing at $21.49 a month.

➽ Hulu Premium (without ads) is also going up by $2, matching the Disney+ Premium rate.

➽ Disney+/Hulu Premium bundle is going up by $2, making it $22 a month.

➽ Hulu + Live TV (with ads) will go up $10 and will be $100 a month,

➽ Hulu Premium + Live TV is also set to increase by $100, making it $110 a month.

As usual, the price hikes make it more enticing to sign up for Disney’s streaming bundles over individual subscriptions. A month of Disney+ or Hulu alone will easily match the price of its dual bundles. Meanwhile, the Disney+/Hulu bundle with ads is currently not set for a price hike. Ads or higher fees? The eternal question.
