Odisha’s Single Window Authority Approves 31 Projects Worth Rs 5,000 Crore

Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) on Tuesday approved 31 projects worth around Rs 5,000 crore.

The SLSWCA approved the projects at it 131st meeting, presided by Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja in Bhubaneswar. The approved projects, valued at approximately Rs 4,954.26 crore, are expected to create 24,162 job opportunities.

The projects have been approved in Mechanical & Electrical Capital Goods, Food Processing, Packaging, Apparel & Textiles, Bio-Fuel, Green Energy Equipment, ESDM, Steel (Ancillary), Non-Metallic Mineral Products (Refractory Products), Steel (Downstream), Plastics, Food, Beverage & Allied Sectors, Agro Processing, Tourism, Power & Renewable Energy and Pharmaceutical sectors.

The projects will be implemented in Khurda, Bargarh, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Angul, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Balasore, Rayagada, Dhenkanal, Puri, Paradip, Koraput, Kendrapada, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh

Following are major projects approved by the Authority:

  • Polimiroir India Pvt Ltd to manufacture, coat and service industrial steel rollers with a capacity of 3,000 units per annum with an investment of Rs 128 crore.
  • Danieli India’s manufacturing facility at a cost of Rs 190 crore and Parth Electricals and Engineering’s electrical equipment manufacturing with an investment of Rs 51 crore.
  • Bisleri International’s beverage manufacturing unit with an investment of Rs 95 crore, Jay Bharat Spices’ corn starch manufacturing unit at Rs 50 crore and GAK Rice’s integrated rice mill with a capacity of 1,44,000 TPA with Rs 70.15 crore.
  • Shalimar Glass Works’ packaging container glass manufacturing unit with Rs 475.54 crore.
  • FM Denim and Twills’ garments manufacturing unit with Rs 130 crore and Tripathaga Textiles’s readymade garments manufacturing unit with a budget of Rs 53 crore.
  • Bharat Petroleum to invest Rs 200 crore in a compressed biogas and fermented organic manure plant while Reliance Bio Energy will set up two plants – one in Sonepur and another in Sambalpur – each with an investment of Rs 121.21 crore.
  • Calderys India Refractories to invest Rs 698.71 crore in a manufacturing facility for refractory products, Nawneet Marketing establish an HR/CR coil processing unit and tube manufacturing unit in Jajpur with Rs 85.14 crore and Gajanan Prabhu Saw Pipes to invest Rs 80 crores in a spiral welded pipe manufacturing unit.
  • Neptunus Ship Builders & Recyclers to set up an integrated ship recycling industry with an investment of Rs 934.54 crore.
  • Maa Chinnamastika Energy to invest Rs 104 crore in a grain-based ethanol plant and IMFA to set up a grain-based ethanol plant in Rayagada with Rs 139.9 crore.
  • SNM Hotel and Resorts will develop a hotel-cum-resort in Puri with an investment of Rs 212.25 crore, Mayfair Hotels & Resorts will augment its facilities at Paradip Panthanivas with Rs 105 crore, GM Infra-Tech to expand a proposed resort in Koraput with Rs 81.11 crore, Crackers India Infrastructures to set up a 4-star resort in Kendrapada with an investment of R 56 crore and Hotel Sonar Bangla Simlipal will develop an eco-friendly resort in Mayurbhanj with a budget of Rs 51.04 crore.
