Social welfare Ireland: Exact dates all 10 lump sum cost of living payments will be made confirmed

Minister for Social Protection Heather Humphreys, will bring a memo to Cabinet detailing the 10 payments this Tuesday morning.
The first of these payments will be the October Bonus. This will be paid on the week commencing October 28 and will benefit groups such as pensioners, carers and people with disabilities.
The Irish Mirror understands that Minister Humphreys will tell colleagues that the following week, starting November 4, will see four cost of living supports made.

These include the €400 Working Family Payment, the €400 Disability Support Grant and the €300 lump sum payment for households in receipt of the fuel allowance.
The first of two Double Child Benefit Payments will also be made that week.
The following week, beginning, November 11, a €400 lump payment will be issued to carers. There will also be a €200 Living Alone Allowance paid to widows, widowers and other single-person households.
Meanwhile, a €100 lump sum for people in receipt of the Child Support Grant, formerly known as ‘Qualified Child’, will be paid on the week beginning November 25.
The final two payments will be made during the first week of December. These are the Christmas Bonus and the second Double Child Benefit Payment.
Minister Humphreys is expected to tell Cabinet that while “inflation is falling the Cost of Living continues to impact families and households right across the country and that Budget 2025 is about giving people a bit of extra help and putting money back in their pocket”.

- €400 Cost of Living Payment to Working Family Payment recipients.
- €300 Cost of Living payment to all Fuel Allowance recipients.
Tuesday November 5
- Double payment of Child Benefit (€280 per child).
Week starting November 11
- €400 Cost of Living payment recipients of Carer’s Support Grant
- €200 Cost of Living payment to recipients of the Living Alone Allowance.
Week starting November 25
- €100 Cost of Living payment for each child in respect of whom a Child Support Payment is in payment.
Week starting December 2
- Christmas Bonus double payment.
Tuesday December 3
- Double payment of Child Benefit (€280 per child).
Elsewhere at Tuesday's Cabinet meeting, Taoiseach Simon Harris will update Cabinet on a number of measures taken by the Government to address child poverty.
The memo will outline some of the Budget 2025 measures aimed at addressing this issue. These include the Weekly Child Support Payment which will increase by €8 to €62 for those aged 12 and over and by €4 to €50 for under 12s in January 2025. This is a targeted measure aimed at children living in poverty.
The school meals programme will be expanded to all remaining primary schools in 2025 The Taoiseach will confirm funding has been provided to roll out hot meals during the summer and holiday periods. This will ensure no child will go hungry when school closes.
The Taoiseach will point to the targeted measures taken by this Government, alongside the universal child benefit payments.
The Taoiseach is also expected to confirm this will remain a priority for him in the coming years.
