House on fire in Auckland's Ōtara

Emergency services are fighting a house fire in Ōtara, Auckland.

Fire and Emergency New Zealand (FENZ) received multiple calls about the fire at 12.32pm on Friday.

FENZ said the fire in the single-level dwelling was well-involved when crews arrived, and it appeared the fire was encroaching on a unit next door.

Five fire trucks were fighting the blaze.

There were no reports of people within the property.
