Southern bull sale results

Rising 2-year-old bull sale results in the South last week:

Puketoi Angus in Puketoi sold 20 of 22 bulls for an average of $9500 including a top price of $17,000 for bull Puketoi 4543, bought by commercial farmer Eric Stringer, of Kyeburn.

Rough Ridge Shorthorn in Ranfurly sold seven of 12 bulls for an average of $7640 including a top price of $13,500 for bull Rough Ridge Rembrandt 2431, bought by Chris Stewart & Kylie Muggeridge, of Turiwhate Shorthorn Stud on the West Coast.

Penvose Angus in Wedderburn sold 37 of 38 bulls for an average of $12,200 including a top price of $21,000 for bull Penvose 24474, bought by commercial farmer Nic Love, of Patearoa.
