Daniel Effiong: I nearly broke up with my wife before marriage

Daniel Etim-Effiong, the Nigerian actor, has celebrated his wife Toyosi Etim-Effiong‘s 40th birthday and spoken about their relationship journey before marriage.

In a video from the event to mark the occasion, Daniel revealed that the couple nearly broke up before tying the knot but Toyosi refused to let it happen.

“There was a time we nearly broke up before marriage and Toyosi said no and it didn’t happen,” he said.

The AMVCA nominee went on to describe his wife as one of his greatest blessings and his greatest win.

“I am truly grateful for you Toyosi. I wouldn’t have been here without you,” he said.

“I cannot but testify of this blessing that God has gifted me.

“You’re my greatest win, for last night and for the rest of my life.”

Daniel also addressed people who say they share too much of their lives online, including comments about him talking excessively.

“People say we talk too much, Oh Daniel, you talk too much, you over share but listen, in the Bible whenever there was a miracle, the people just don’t keep their mouth shut,” he said.

Daniel previously expressed deep love and admiration for his wife, revealing that he loves her more than his children.
