Girl group RESCENE appointed as public relations ambassador for Suwon special city

RESCENE has been named the official public relations ambassador for Suwon Special City. The appointment is especially fitting since member Liv grew up in Suwon's Guun-dong before debuting as a K-pop idol.

The five-member group — Woni, Liv, Minami, May, and Zena — debuted in 2024. Liv's hometown roots give the partnership a personal touch that goes beyond the usual celebrity endorsement.

Suwon plans to work with RESCENE on a range of projects tied to the '2026-2027 Suwon Visit Year' campaign. The city wants to create digital content aimed at younger audiences, spotlighting Suwon's history, culture, and festivals for both domestic and international visitors.

Liv shared her excitement: "I am happy and honored to serve as a public relations ambassador for my beloved hometown, Suwon." The group added, "We will do our best to let as many people as possible know about Suwon's beautiful history, culture, and attractions."

Suwon Mayor Lee Jae Joon said he's thrilled to have RESCENE on board, noting that Liv and the members' youthful energy will help showcase a fresh side of the city.
