Swings confesses to 8.76 million USD in debt and severe depression

Swings has opened up about his severe emotional struggles stemming from a massive debt of approximately 8.76 million USD (12 billion KRW). On May 9, 2026, a video titled "Reasons for Swings' Struggles Found in a Past Life" was uploaded to his YouTube channel, 'Egennam (Estrogen Man) Swings'. Before ㅗhis past-life regression session, the rapper spoke with an expert, expressing his desperate desire to escape his current suffering and describing his mind as feeling like it has been "on fire" for years.

Swings revealed that he took out the massive loan about five to six years ago to significantly expand his company. "I almost went crazy in the process of paying it back. I am still paying it off, and it is scheduled to be cleared by the end of this year," he stated. Despite nearing the end of his financial burden, he confessed to feeling completely exhausted and lacking the strength to fight anymore. He noted that his depression was particularly deep last year and expressed a simple, desperate longing for peace of mind.

Swings also reflected on the toll his business ventures have taken on his personal relationships, seemingly alluding to recent friction in the industry, including a diss from rapper Big Naughty. He admitted that managing a large number of personnel within his company inevitably led to conflicts, leaving him feeling as though he has lost many friends along the way. "I honestly feel a lot of regret. I wonder if I lived my life wrong, or in vain. I feel empty and hollow," he confessed. Furthermore, he revealed a tendency toward intense self-criticism, explaining that he verbally and emotionally berates himself whenever he fails to maintain his eight-year workout routine.
