aespa to live-stream first Gocheok Dome concert in 146 theaters
by TelloWoo · allkpopGirl group aespa will hold their first concert at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome on August 7 and 8, opening their '2026-27 aespa LIVE TOUR - SYNK: COMPLaeXITY.' According to SM Entertainment, the August 7 show will be broadcast live in 146 theaters across 11 regions, including South Korea.
The August 8 concert will be streamed online through Beyond LIVE and Weverse. Select Korean theaters, including Megabox Guui Eastpole, Mokdong, and Sangam World Cup Stadium, will use AI spatial audio technology, a first for Korean cinemas, with the show presented in 4K.
Following the Seoul concerts, aespa will continue their world tour across 25 regions, including North America, South America, and Europe.
aespa debuted under SM Entertainment in November 2020 with the single "Black Mamba." The four-member group, made up of Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning, built their identity around a metaverse concept that pairs each member with a virtual "ae" avatar.
The group earned wide popularity with hits such as "Next Level," "Savage," "Spicy," and "Supernova," and released their first full-length album 'Armageddon' in 2024. aespa has since continued to expand their presence through world tours and overseas activities.
