Jung Sung Il cast as former NIS ace turned detective agency boss in new comedy series

Jung Sung Il has been cast in the new comedy series 'Please Transfer the Money (Tentative English title).'

The actor will take on the role of Yoon Ji Hyuk, the head of a private detective agency, in the comedy series produced by the YouTube channel BDNS.

'Please Transfer the Money' is an episodic comedy centered around a detective agency that will do anything for money, following the team as they solve a wide range of cases in their own unconventional ways. Each episode introduces new cases and guest appearances, aiming to deliver both broad appeal and fresh storytelling.

In the series, Jung Sung Il plays Yoon Ji Hyuk, a former elite agent of the National Intelligence Service who now runs the detective agency “One Solution,” marking a new acting transformation.

Yoon Ji Hyuk is a sly, quick-witted, and somewhat pretentious character driven by survival instincts, serving as the central figure of the story. The narrative will explore his journey from NIS agent to detective agency boss, interwoven with ongoing cases that highlight his multifaceted charm.

Through 'Please Transfer the Money,' Jung Sung Il takes on his first comedy series, promising a unique brand of humor through bizarre cases and unpredictable developments. Anticipation is also building for his on-screen chemistry with actor Moon Sang Hoon, who plays the eccentric profiler Moon Sang Rok and fellow employee at 'One Solution.'

Jung Sung Il first gained widespread recognition for his role as Ha Do Young in the Netflix series 'The Glory.' He has since continued to impress with performances in projects such as the Netflix original film 'Uprising,' the film 'Murderer’s Report,' and Disney+ series 'Trigger' and 'Made in Korea,' showcasing his versatility and strong character portrayal.

The new comedy series 'Please Transfer the Money,' starring Jung Sung Il, will premiere on Sunday, April 12 at 1 PM via the YouTube channel BDNS.
