ONE HUNDRED comments on the legal suspension of The Boyz's exclusive contracts, 'Only a temporary decision'

ONE HUNDRED has issued an official statement in response to the court's decision to suspend the validity of the exclusive contracts signed by The Boyz

According to a legal representative of ONE HUNDRED on April 24 KST, "The court's initial decision is not final; it does not mean that the contracts have been terminated." Instead, the label insisted that the decision was the result of "a misinterpretation of the law."

The label's side argued that "the ruling over the injunction proceeded on a tight schedule, which meant that the decision-makers did not have adequate time to review the central materials and counterarguments."

The company then continued to assert that it had fulfilled all due payments to The Boyz, and that it was not neglecting the group's ongoing schedules as argued. According to the agency's legal representative, "At the time of signing, each of the 9 members of The Boyz received individual contract agreement payments of 1.5 billion KRW each, totaling 16.5 billion KRW. Take out the amount claimed by The Boyz to have been unpaid, around 1.66 billion KRW, and that still leaves 11.8 billion KRW."

Finally, ONE HUNDRED's side argued, "The Boyz claimed that they are bearing the costs to prepare for the upcoming concert on their own, which is false. The Boyz's concert scheduled in April is also hosted by ONE HUNDRED. We will make sure to reveal the truth in ongoing proceedings."
