SHINee's Key reveals why he urged SM Entertainment to spend more money

Recently, SHINee's Key appeared as a special guest on the YouTube talk show 'HalMyungSoo' and sat down with host Park Myung Soo.

In the video that was uploaded on September 20, Key had the opportunity to introduce his latest 3rd mini-album 'Pleasure Shop.' Set to be released on September 23, 'Pleasure Shop' invites fans to a mysterious futuristic world, giving them a new experience through Key's album.

During the conversation, Park Myung Soo gave a piece of advice to Key saying, "Keep telling your company to spend money! If you don’t do anything and just sit there, they really won’t pay attention to you." Park Myung Soo added, "Keep telling them to do something, okay? Like creating song demos. And tell them to release all kinds of things, that way the company will..."

Before Park Myung Soo could finish, Key expressed his surprise and agreed by saying, "Absolutely! That’s what I’ve been saying!"

Key continued to explain his principles and shared, "I told them to spend a good budget for the music video and for the album! If there’s a deficit, I’ll make up for it with something else. If there’s a deficit, I’ll make it up through concerts or ads. Don’t worry and spending a decent budget. We need to have some dignity. We need to have integrity at this level of experience."
