BTS's Jungkook has once again demonstrated his global influence, ranking No. 1 as the most searched male group idol on YouTube in South Korea in 2026.

According to official accounts such as About Music and Pop Planet, Jungkook secured the top spot among male group idols searched on Korean YouTube this year.

Previously, Jungkook ranked No. 1 as the most searched male group idol member on Korean YouTube in 2024, even while serving in the military. In 2025, he placed No. 2 among the most searched male idols in South Korea.

On a global scale, Jungkook also topped rankings in the United States, becoming the most searched K-pop male idol group member on YouTube for two consecutive years in 2024 and 2025. In Japan, he held the No. 1 position for the most searched male idol group member on YouTube for 10 consecutive years. Additionally, he has maintained the No. 1 spot as the most searched K-pop idol worldwide on YouTube for five straight years.

Last year, Jungkook ranked as the third most mentioned person globally on YouTube, following Cristiano Ronaldo (7.7 million mentions) and Lionel Messi (6.9 million mentions), with 4.6 million mentions. Even during his military service, he recorded the highest number of YouTube mentions among solo artists worldwide.

Jungkook has also ranked No. 1 as the most searched K-pop idol on Google for five consecutive years and topped K-pop star rankings on Tumblr for the same duration.

On global short-form video platform TikTok, his personal hashtag #jungkook surpassed 300 billion views, making him the first solo artist in history to achieve the milestone. He is also the first and only individual to exceed 40 million posts on the platform.

Jungkook further claimed the No. 1 spot as the most searched K-pop idol on Pinterest in 2024, a platform with over 500 million users.

Most recently, a “Hooligan” challenge video uploaded to his personal Instagram account surpassed 100 million views within just four days of its release. The post also became the third most shared in Instagram history, with over 2.3 million shares.
