Kian84 donates 100 million KRW(~68,000 USD) to elderly recyclers

On April 21 KST, a video titled “Donated 100 million KRW(~68,000 USD) with Kian84 to elderly recyclers” was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Celebin.' In the video, Kian84 appeared as the first guest of the content series “Donation Designer.”
Through his ongoing “100 Challenge,” Kian84 selected 100 elderly individuals who collect recyclables for a living and provided each with 1 million KRW (approximately $680 USD).
Explaining his motivation, Kian84 shared, “I was raised by my grandmother, so I feel a sense of sympathy when I see elderly people.”
He personally visited recipients to deliver the donations. One elderly recipient expressed deep gratitude, saying it was rare in their lifetime to receive such an amount and shared plans to finally enjoy a meal they had long wished for.
Kian84 has consistently engaged in charitable efforts, including donating proceeds from his 2022 exhibition and supporting children through previous “100 Challenge” initiatives.
Reflecting on his giving, he said, “Donating brings a sense of pride and fulfillment. I hope others who donate can also feel that same sense of purpose.”
The initiative highlights not only financial support but also personal connection, as Kian84 continues to use his platform to encourage meaningful acts of giving.
