Kang Daniel sends video message to fans before enlistment

Kang Daniel shared a heartfelt message with fans ahead of his military enlistment.

During the April 28 KST broadcast of 'Wanna One Go: Back to Base', members including Park Ji Hoon, Hwang Min Hyun, and Lee Dae Hwi reunited for the first time in about seven years. Kang Daniel was unable to join due to his enlistment.

Instead, he appeared through a video message, expressing his regret over missing the reunion and asking for fans’ understanding, noting that fulfilling military duty is an important responsibility.

Footage from his enlistment day on February 9 was also revealed. In the video, Kang Daniel greeted fans warmly, saying he would serve well and return safely. He added that if fans remain by his side, he will return as a more dedicated and improved idol, a better version of himself.

Meanwhile, the broadcast also revisited memories from the group’s 2017 promotions, including scenes featuring their old van, bringing a sense of nostalgia and smiles to viewers.
