ALLDAY PROJECT’s Annie spotted on economy flight, shares “Traveling with friends” update

On May 5, Annie updated fans via a fan communication platform, writing, “I’m on a flight going on a trip with friends,” alongside a series of casual photos taken onboard.
In the released images, Annie is seen seated on an airplane, studying for her final exams mid-flight. She also explained, “I’m studying for finals on the plane. My friend secretly took this photo, but I thought DAY ONE (fan club name) would like it, so I’m posting it.”
What particularly caught public attention was her seating choice. Despite being the granddaughter of Shinsegae Group chairwoman Lee Myung Hee and the eldest daughter of Shinsegae executive chairwoman Chung Yoo Kyung, Annie was seen seated in economy class rather than business or first class, drawing comments about her unexpectedly modest travel style.
Meanwhile, Annie is currently enrolled at Columbia University in the United States. She originally took a leave of absence to pursue group activities but later returned to her studies due to difficulties continuing both. She now has one semester remaining before graduation and is expected to complete her degree in the first half of this year.
Annie debuted with ALLDAY PROJECT in June last year but temporarily paused her entertainment activities in January to focus on her academic commitments.
