Prince Harry will stay at BetterUp as a senior advisor after leaving the chief impact officer position he’s held since 2021. His new job will center on projects involving some of the mental health coaching company’s biggest corporate customers.
CEO and co-founder Alexi Robichaux announced the change in a statement on BetterUp’s website. He said the shift will give Harry more time for investments, new business ventures and philanthropy while keeping him involved with the company’s team and client leadership.
Harry, 42, spent 5 years on BetterUp’s leadership team. Robichaux credited him with advocating for wider access to coaching during a period when the company reached hundreds of thousands of people and entered more than 30 additional countries.
BetterUp combines coaching, AI and behavioral science in its work with customers.
The role change follows Harry’s return to the UK with Meghan and their 2 children earlier this year. The couple had moved to North America in 2020 after stepping back from their duties as senior royals.
BetterUp’s partnership with the Invictus Games Foundation will continue, including its work with Harry to support veterans’ resilience, recovery and personal goals.
