Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi is opening up about her hysterectomy, sharing a detailed account of the procedure and the difficult early days of her recovery.

The former “Jersey Shore” star documented the experience from her 4:30 a.m. hospital arrival to her first night in recovery.

Doctors kept her ovaries so she wouldn’t hit early menopause. While they were in there, they also reconnected the abdominal muscles that had separated after her three pregnancies.

By her own account, the first couple of days have been hell.
