For FW26, JJJJound and New Balance are delivering yet another variant of the New Balance 990v3, a silhouette the collaborators have reimagined time and time again since the very start of their partnership. The 990v3 is not only the first JJJJ x NB silhouette, debuting in 2018, but also the subject of four more releases since then. Now the JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 returns in a familiar palette, echoing the hues of their debut shoe with a streamlined execution

Composed of full tan suede uppers, the design gets contrast from a black N logo on the lateral and an all-black sole. Across the tongue, “New Balance USA” calls out its USA-made provenance, having originated at the shoemaker’s New England production facilities. JJJJound’s signature branding appears only on the black insoles, aligning with the Montreal label’s discreet approach to brand identity. Notably, the shoe borrows some details from the 2018 JJJJ x NB 990v3, including the tan suede upper details and the black N logo. However, for 2026, JJJJound forgoes the tonal detailing and mesh backdrop for a monolithic look, interrupted only by the few striking black details.
