Stevie Nicks Performs at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Wedding

· Rolling Stone

Stevie Nicks is no stranger to playing Madison Square Garden, having performed solo as well as with Fleetwood Mac several times over the years. And while we imagine that every MSG performance is special, this one was likely one for the books as Nicks performed at the nuptials of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

Although details of the performance remain scarce, Good Morning America hosts Robin Roberts, Michael Strahan, and George Stephanopoulos confirmed that Nicks did take the stage. “We can confirm that, yes, Stevie Nicks did perform,” Roberts, who attended the wedding alongside her co-hosts, said on the show this morning. It’s so far unclear what song Nicks performed and whether she performed with anyone (Swift herself?).

Nicks and Swift have long shared mutual admiration for one another. In 2024, Nicks penned a poem for Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department titled “For T — and me,” which is featured on physical copies of the album. Meanwhile, Swift name-dropped Nicks in “Clara Bow,” the final track of the album’s standard version.

Nicks has been supportive of the couple. “She’s in a good place right now, and I think she has a good man,” she said in her 2024 Rolling Stone Interview. She added: “I hope they fall deeper and deeper in love and ride off into the sunset. He does his thing and she does her thing, and then they come back together and get married and have babies if she wants that. I just want all of that for her.”

Late last year, Swift discussed her relationship with Nicks in an interview on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. “I have Stevie Nicks in my life in a way that affects me positively constantly,” she told Colbert. “Being able to talk to her and have a phone call with her and hear what she’s been through … I feel very lucky that she’s lended her very magical, wonderful, wise approach to life to me.”

Swift and Kelce officially tied the knot on Friday night. The couple did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, Swift’s brother Austin Swift served as her “Man of Honor” and Jason Kelce was Kelce’s Best Man. The ceremony was officiated by Adam Sandler.

Unsurprisingly, the big spectacle was jam-packed with musicians, from Swift’s close collaborators Jack Antonoff and Aaron Dessner to her close friends in the music industry like Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez, the Haim sisters, Sombr, Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert, Kelsea Ballerini, Rascal Flatts guitarist Joe Don Rooney, and Maren Morris.

Some of Swift’s closest friends were in attendance, including Abigail Andersen, Ashley Avignone, Gigi Hadid, Lena Dunham, and Zoë Kravitz. Karli Kloss attended with her husband Joshua Kushner, a surprise after rumors of a rift between her and Swift.

Beyond the music industry, Swift also made sure to invite celebrities she’s bonded with over the years, like Marisa Hargitay from Law & Order: SVU. Dakota Johnson, Julianne Moore, Ethan Hawke, Hugh Grant, Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day, and Jessica Chastain added to the A-list hype. Golden Globes host Nikki Glaser, a longtime Swift fan, also scored an invite, as did The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon.

Of course, several athletes were on Kelce’s side of the aisle, including his Kansas City Chiefs teammates and head coach Andy Reid. Other NFL players, including LA Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, were also there. Kelce brought sports broadcasters to the party in Erin Andrews and Greg Olsen, who are also retired NFL players. Abby Wambach, who attended with wife Glennon Doyle, represented soccer, while NFL commissioner Roger Goodell joined the festivities.
