Household income of $450,000, a $3 million home loan or $1 million sitting in cash – these are just some of the prerequisites to qualify for private banking in Australia.
The barrier to entry may be high, but the perks of having a private banker are equally premium – think trading the call centre queue for a direct line to a money manager who knows you by name, and, usually, your kids’ names too.
