Sensex opens 500 points higher, Nifty above 23,900; TCS down 2%
The S&P BSE Sensex climbed 442.82 points to 77,074.48, while the NSE Nifty50 added 144.95 points to 23,920.05 as of 9:28 am.

The S&P BSE Sensex climbed 442.82 points to 77,074.48, while the NSE Nifty50 added 144.95 points to 23,920.05 as of 9:28 am.
Axis Bank Ltd led the Sensex gainers, rising 2.00%. It was followed by Bajaj Finserv Ltd, which gained 1.77%. Bajaj Finance Ltd moved up 1.65%, while ICICI Bank Ltd added 1.55%. Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd also advanced, rising 1.54%.
On the losing side, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd saw the sharpest fall, dropping 3.34%. Infosys Ltd declined 1.92%, Tech Mahindra Ltd slipped 1.77%, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd was down 1.65%, and HCL Technologies Ltd fell 1.38% in early trade.
