Caught on camera: Leopard enters house in Mount Abu, attacks pet dog

A video of a leopard entering the garden of a house in Mount Abu and attacking a pet dog has gone viral on social media.

A leopard was caught on camera attacking a pet dog in the garden of a house in Mount Abu, Rajasthan, before being scared away by the owner’s screams.

A video of the incident has since gone viral on social media. It showed the leopard stealthily jumping across the boundary wall of a paying guest house before pounding on a black Labrador Retriever in the garden.

The footage begins with the dog wandering around the garden when, out of nowhere, the leopard leaps over the wall. It immediately attacks, biting the dog’s neck as the startled pet struggles to break free.

The tense encounter lasted for several moments as the dog tried to resist the leopard. The situation took a turn when a woman, upon hearing her dog’s frantic howling, opened the door and rushed outside.

Her screams startled the leopard, causing it to release the dog and flee the premises. The relived dog then hurried back into the house with its owner.

The incident occurred on Friday at around 9am at the Sunrise Valley Forest Lodge.
