The film balances its romantic arc with moments of humour and drama, positioning itself as a classic summer rom-com with a workplace twist.

The ensemble cast includes Betty Gilpin, Amy Sedaris, Tony Hale and Bradley Whitford. Gilpin plays Jackie’s close friend Sydney, while Daniel seeks advice from his sister Lizzy, played by Jodie Whittaker.

Directed by Ol Parker, known for Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, the film also reunites Lopez with Edward James Olmos, who once again plays her father, echoing their earlier collaboration in Selena.

Office Romance will debut on June 5.
