A shocking video from Bareilly has gone viral, showing a woman repeatedly slapping another woman during a dispute over unpaid wages.

According to reports, the incident took place in the Subhash Nagar area, where a domestic worker’s mother was allegedly assaulted by her employer when she went to ask for pending payment. The video circulating on social media shows the accused woman slapping the victim multiple times in quick succession.

The victim, identified as Vimla Devi, has filed a complaint with the police. She told authorities that her daughter had been working at the accused woman’s house for the past eight months but had not been paid. The daughter, who is currently unwell and undergoing treatment in Delhi, had asked her mother to collect the dues to cover medical expenses.

However, when Vimla Devi approached the employer to ask for the money, she was allegedly abused and assaulted. She further claimed that despite an agreement of Rs 5,000 per month, no payment had been made for eight months, and she was instead threatened.

Police officials said a complaint has been received and an investigation is underway.
