The iPhone 17 deal is particularly notable because Apple recently increased the phone's price in India by Rs 17,000. The 256GB model, which launched at Rs 82,900, now officially sells for Rs 99,900. Flipkart's Big Billion Days deal, however, brings the phone's selling price down to Rs 84,999.

iPhone 17 gets Rs 15,000 flat discount

According to Flipkart's teaser, the iPhone 17 will be available for Rs 84,999 during the sale, compared with its current official retail price of Rs 99,900. That means buyers get a flat Rs 15,000 discount without needing a credit card or an exchange phone.

There are additional savings available for eligible buyers. The Flipkart deal lists a Rs 2,000 discount on ICICI Bank or Axis Bank credit card transactions. Customers can also get a Rs 3,000 exchange bonus.

With both additional offers, Flipkart shows a net effective price of Rs 79,999 for the iPhone 17.

This makes the deal especially interesting for people who were considering the phone before Apple's recent price increase. The flat sale price alone takes the iPhone 17 below its original launch price of Rs 82,900, while the additional offers can bring the effective cost down further.

iPhone 15 price falls to Rs 67,999

The older iPhone 15 is also getting a sizeable price cut during the Big Billion Days sale. Flipkart has teased the phone at Rs 67,999, down from its current official retail price of Rs 74,900.

This represents a flat Rs 6,901 discount before any other benefits are applied. Flipkart is also offering additional savings through its eligible credit cards.

The deal lists 5 per cent cashback of up to Rs 3,400 on Flipkart Axis Bank and Flipkart SBI credit card transactions. There is also a Rs 3,000 exchange bonus. Combining these additional benefits brings the advertised net effective price to Rs 61,599.

The Big Billion Days sale begins on October 9, with eligible Flipkart Plus, Black and credit card users getting early access from October 8. The sale is also expected to include discounts on phones such as the Galaxy S25 and other popular devices.

Flipkart has often changed deal prices or availability during major sale events, so it remains to be seen whether these teased prices will remain unchanged throughout the sale. For buyers specifically waiting for an iPhone deal, the early sale period could be worth checking.
