Flipkart is set to begin it’s Freedon Sale from August 8, 2026. The e-commerce platform has revealed an interesting deal for the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max. With the deal, the iPhone 17 Pro Max could effectively cost less than the iPhone 17 Pro.
The offer, however, comes with a few conditions. The lowest price is only possible after combining the sale discount, eligible bank offers and cashback benefits.
Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max
According to Flipkart’s sale teaser, the iPhone 17 Pro Max will receive a flat Rs 8,000 discount, dropping its price from Rs 1,49,900 to Rs 1,41,900 during the Freedom Sale.
On top of that, buyers using eligible SBI Bank credit cards or the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card can claim an instant Rs 5,000 discount, bringing the effective purchase price down to Rs 1,36,900.
The savings don’t stop there. Flipkart is also offering 5 percent cashback on eligible transactions, which works out to roughly Rs 4,000 on the discounted amount. After factoring in this cashback, the effective price comes down to around Rs 1,32,900.

Interestingly, this is lower than the launch price of the iPhone 17 Pro, which starts at Rs 1,34,900. In total, buyers can save nearly Rs 17,000 through the combination of direct discounts, bank benefits and cashback. Flipkart says a similar total benefit of around Rs 17,000 will also be available on the iPhone 17 Pro, although its effective price still remains above the Pro Max offer.
The Freedom Sale isn’t focused only on Apple’s latest Pro models. Flipkart has also announced price cuts on a few older iPhones.
The iPhone 15 will be available at an effective price of Rs 55,900, compared to its current retail price of Rs 59,900. The iPhone 16 Plus will also get a discount, bringing its effective price down to Rs 75,900 from Rs 79,900.
So far, Flipkart hasn’t officially revealed offers for the standard iPhone 17, iPhone 17e, iPhone 16, or iPhone 13. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean these devices will be left out. Earlier teaser pages briefly hinted that the standard iPhone 17 could be available for under Rs 80,000, suggesting more deals could be announced before the sale officially begins.
The Flipkart Freedom Sale will open with early access on August 7 for Plus and Black members, while all customers will be able to shop from August 8. As always, the final prices will depend on payment method, card eligibility and whether cashback is successfully claimed, so buyers should carefully check all offer terms before placing an order.
