Bank of India recruitment 2025: Apply for 514 Credit Officers in GBO Stream

Bank of India (BOI) has released a fresh notification for recruitment of 514 experienced officers posts under its General Banking Officer (GBO) stream on it’s official website. Candidates can apply for the recruitment drive online through the official Bank of India website after the application window opens on December 20, 2025. The application link will remain open till January 5, 2026.

Bank of India recruitment vacancy details

The total 514 vacancies are distributed across three management scales, reflecting different levels of seniority and responsibility:

SMGS-IV (Senior Management)- 36
MMGS-III (Mid-Senior Level) – 60
MMGS-II (Mid-Level) – 418

Reservation for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD categories applies as per Government of India norms.

Educational Qualification

The candidates who are applying for the recruitment drive must have a graduation degree from a recognised university. Specific professional qualifications such as CA, CFA, ICWA, MBA/PGDBM in Banking or Finance, or equivalent postgraduate banking/credit qualifications are preferred depending on the scale.

Age Limits (as on 01 Nov 2025):

MMGS-II: 25–35 years
MMGS-III: 28–38 years
SMGS-IV: 30–40 years

Age relaxation is available for SC/ST, OBC, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen as per government rules.

Experience

MMGS-II: Minimum 3 years post-qualification officer experience, with at least 2 years in MSME/Corporate/Commercial credit.

MMGS-III / SMGS-IV: Progressive experience ranging from approximately five to eight years in credit and banking functions, aligned with managerial expectations.
