Honda has accelerated the production for the recently announced ADV160 in India as deliveries got delayed into January 2027. The ADV160 production has been hastened at the company’s Manesar manufacturing facility to shorten the waiting period for this new flex-fuel scooter.
According to report by BikeWale, the company aims to deliver it’s first flex-fuel scooter for India to the first customer before the end of 2026.
The company has reportedly made special preparations to increase the pace of ADV160 assembly. It has setup a automated line for the scooter’s final assembly process to push the production process and save time.

At the time of price announcement on 25 August 2026, HMSI has stated that the deliveries of the ADV160 and Rebel 300 would commence from mid-October. However, the company has fallen behind the promised deadline to deliver the scooter as October nears it’s end.
So, the company is ramping up the production with an aim to deliver the scooter to initial customers towards the end of 2026, as suggested by the report.
Though, Honda has not made any official announcement regarding this, the acceleration regarding this suggests the company’s hope for reduced waiting time.
Honda had introduced the scooter with the claim that this is India’s first scooter capable of running on fuel blends containing up to E85 using the company’s FlexTech system.
